There is a cliff at the end of the road we are on that must be avoided. Our current fiscal policy is not favorable for longterm stability of our STATE! There are difficult decisions to be made but we must be prudent in making those decisions.
9. The Second Amendment protects the right of law-abiding citizens to own firearms for self-defense. SS* All Montana laws need to be in harmony with our state constitution and not be legislated from the bench. Our liberties are not for sale.
10. Montanans should not be discriminated against or treated differently based on their vaccination status. SS
11. Climate change is a serious problem that requires increased government regulation. SO
12. Environmental regulations in Montana are currently too restrictive. SO* Montana restrictive environmental regulations are a threat to Montana prosperity both on an individual basis and business growth. We are a Treasure State and reasonably regulated development of our resources supports our state, jobs and reduces taxes across the board. If we don't support reasonable development the burden then falls on each of us as a taxpayer. We cannot afford the cost!!
13. Abortion should be illegal at all stages of pregnancy. SS
14. Abortion should be legal only in the early stages of pregnancy and restricted after a specific point, except when necessary to save the life of the mother. SO

S* As a U.S. citizen and legislator I have taken an oath to uphold and defend the constitution of both the United States and State of Montana. While I may not totally agree 100% with all existing laws I due respect the legal rights of all citizens based on our constitutions. I support individual rights just like they need to support my rights.
